thought experiment with brakes 200

I have just started into the ABS cars and they have one brake line for each front caliper. In my spares stash i have several non-ABS front calipers, which have two brake lines.

It would be easy to fab up a T to take fluid from the single ABS line and direct it to the two inlets on a non-ABS caliper. It seems like it would take just as much fluid to move 4 ABS or 4 non-ABS pistons. They look like they will bolt right up. Am I missing something obvious ? Has anyone tried this ?

Greg
