J-Type O.D. Question 1800 1973

Unfortunately the OD Guru's health does not permit him to participate in the Brickboard anymore. Duane was definitely the go to guy on the overdrive units. A wealth of information and a tremendous source of parts.

If you haven't already it would pay dividends to use the Brickboard search for all relevant terms that might produce a hit for Duane's posts on overdrive units.

Is it the Jtype Laycock that requires a very thin 1"(?) wrench to remove the solenoid? I made one (enlarged the opening) out of a wrench used on the head stock of bicycles...
