Transmission failing? (AW70 in 1991 245) 200 1991

Make sure the kick down cable is attached internally and you hear the clunk when pulling the cable all the way out. Also make sure it moves freely in the sheath, drip some trans fluid down the cable as a preventative.

Your pumping out fluid tome seems about what I get when flushing the trans.

OD, you should hear the relay click to the left of the glove box, if the light is going on and off it's OK. Under the car you should hear the solenoid or at least feel it. May be bad wire or insulation to the solenoid. If it's not working you can dremel a slot between the two 0 rings to bypass the solenoid and reinstall with the outer o ring only. Before removing solenoid thoroughly clean the area around it.
