123 Distributor install help - B20F

I made the suggestion because over the history of a motor things might have been changed -- for instance -- when a new camshaft is installed the timing marks on cam/crank gears are for #4 TDC compression stroke--not #1. If that wasn't taken into account then the oil pump/distributor drive gear might have been installed in something other than the original position or wires at the cap changed to compensate, etc. Sorry I can't be of more help.-- Dave
