123 Distributor install help - B20F

I'm suspicious of the trigger connections as well. I'm wondering if the spade terminals I used are long enough to make a good connection. The wiring you see is what's called for in the installation instructions. Something internally must complete the function of the middle trigger wire.
The only video installation I found was a German guy installing on his Porsche 914 d-jet. His worked fine wired with only 2 wires. Planetman had mentioned in a different post I found while researching, that he has installed these in a few d-jet volvos without issue and the reviews have been favorable. I chose to replace my original unit with this for the advantage of virtually zero wear.
I ditched my ignition contact points long ago and replaced them with pertronix. The idea of eliminating the trigger points seems a great way to remove a potential failure/inaccuracy element from the d-jet system.
My Bosch unit is old and in need of service or replacement, New trigger points are over $200 alone so $400 for a brand new distributor with major technological advances seemed a good choice. Time will tell.
