Adding Cruise Control to 1987 245 200 1987

Hi all,

I looked around here and couldn't find an exact answer to my question - I hope it hasn't been covered and I missed it. If so, apologies in advance.

I recently picked up a 1987 245 manual transmission with 150k miles and no rust. I've been driving it daily for a couple months and couldn't be happier. I miss, however, the cruise control from my '92 manual wagon that I took off the road. Can I just swap over the '92 cruise system to the '87? Was there anything specific to the '87 kit? Was there ever such a thing? The '92 cruise always worked flawlessly and I have every nut and bolt to swap over.

Thanks in advance~!
