Fuel pump relay 200

Most of the fuel pump relays I've had fail weren't due to extra load that Dave describes. Instead it seems to be cracked solder joints. They seemed to always be on the coil mount solder joints.

I always thought that this sort of failure was more than likely due to vibration over time causing the solder to crack. Since the coil is the heaviest component soldered to the circuit board, it was the first to fail.
