Fuel related hard start after head gasket change 740 Turbo FT 700 1991

Blew the gasket between cylinder 2 and 3 at 270k but still ran. Previously ran
not bad. First start took a half dozen tries, ran it 10 miles up to 70mph
with no prob except the snap-on No 8 didn't fall out like i hoped. Subsequent starting quite difficult. Something missed or decrepid electric connection now defunct. Changed fuel regulator- ng. Checked forward temp sensor w/bad plug but working. Pulled cold start injector wire- has 2.3 volts across. Didn't check ohms.
Pulled csi hooked up and got nothing. Haven't checked rear therm sensor yet but doubtful....it ran fine before[always does yes]. Ideas appreciated!
