142 fuel system 140-160

With a mechanical pump meant for carb, you would not need the fuel return line, at least it's that way stock.

You have the fuel vapor line and the fuel return back to the tank that remain now, unused?

You may merely be able to cut and plug the unused lines at the top of the tank. Use material appropriate for the task.

If you have a single line connection as it is, keep it. Saved for the unused lines. However, in the era of subsidized corn methanol making Iowa wealthier, while using energy and polluting more, you may want to upgrade that single fuel line with modern fuel line composition. I forget the name of the fuel line you need.

The steel line sections for the fuel return may be removed, if I can recall, Probably safer to use the steel sections installed at the factory. Ensure they remains securely clipped.

Just watch and treat the rust around the top of the tank.

Do you use a pressure regulator with that Weber? The iPd kit?

cheers,

dud.
