Question about P/S on a 140

I'm giving some serious thought to converting my 1969 144S (the Volvo From Heck) from manual to power steering. I read a post a while back regarding mounting a 164 p/s box to a 140. That required making an adapter plate as the mounting holes are not spaced the same as on a manual 140. I happen to have 2 164 boxes and all the brackets, pumps & pulley needed. My Question -- Is the p/s box that was used on 140 cars (I've owned a '71 to buy/sell -- and many '73 and '74 140s have p/s) spaced the same as the manual box?
I got to thinking about it because a parts client from MD told me about a "yard" local to him that has a 140. If the box that 140 series used is a "bolt-in" I'll look for one (anyone have one?)---otherwise I can adapt one of my 164 boxes. -- Dave
