'71 142 Floor Pan Help 140-160

Hello ladies and gents,

I have a '71 142e that I am working on reviving and it is in desperate need of both front floor pans. The driver's side has actually started rusting out where it comes up onto the transmission hump.

As you may know, the floor pans for the early 140 cars are nla. My question is this: can I run the later 140/240 floor pans, assuming I run a 240 trans tunnel and convert to the later style shifter also?
