Cooling fan wont turn on when car gets hot 700

Hi all,

I have a 92 740 wagon, automatic, with 116k miles.
It is a great car in really terrific shape.

Lately I have been having an issue with the cooling fan not turning on when the engine gets warm. Even during the colder weather it would turn on and now it doesn't turn on at all, even if i run the AC.

The cooling fan definitely works though. I can unplug the two connectors on the thermoswitch (the plug that goes into the radiator), touch them together and the fan turns on. So I put in a new thermoswitch and it still doesnt turn on. The relay is also new within the last 15k miles.

Any one else ever have this problem or have suggestions where I should look next?

Thanks
