Heater Water Valve Vacuum Switch Position? 700 1988

Hi!

I have replaced the water valve on my AC equipped car and after doing that I noticed that the valve is not engaged (ie not closed) when the temperature control lever is set at "cool". I have not tested Max AC yet which is supposed to close the valve independent of temperature control lever position.

The vacuum switch is shown on page 11 here: http://www.volvotips.com/service-manual/volvo-740/Volvo-740-760-780-body-interior-heating-cooling-service-manual-part-3.html .

Where is it located? Has anyone replaced /adjusted it?

Thanx,
Volvouser
