AIR CONDITIONER 2001

How's the cooling? Does it cool nicely before its going off? If yes then it could be the compressor's clutch gap has increased beyond specs. With an increased clutch gap (this due to normal clutch wear) the magnetic pull unable to maintain clutch engagement when engine is hot thus no cooling after a cool episode.

If your AC does the on and off without even cooling then there could be insufficient R134a. Need to top up some more. And find the leaks too if you need to top up frequently. Normal top up would be once every couple of years (due to background R134a leaks from rubber parts - hoses, o-rings)

Those above are the usual causes.

Regards,
Amarin.
