Liquid Nails 200

Was talking to the guy today that is going to help me with my suspension work and we were talking about bushing in general.

He told me about an old trick that some people use at the track. He said that they would sometimes use Liquid Nails when they had a cracked or split bushing. He said that they would fill up the space with the stuff, let it harden, and away they would go!

Anyone ever heard of this old trick? (My car is getting all new bushings, not Liquid Nails by the way).
