I thought getting a 2" exhaust would be a little more efficient, but now it seems just too loud. It's straight through anyhow.

If I splice a normal 2" muffler in the middle where the oem was, will I give up all the gain of a 2"? This may not be fully tuned, but it runs well. The 1.5 (or 1.75) original surely had a baffled muffler.

I just don't want to wear earplugs anymore for hour trips.
