Code 2-3-2 89 245 200 1989

Thanks, Art.

This is proving to be an education for both me and my daughter.

I admit to being one who has always tried to get the TPS to click as close as humanly possible to the throttle closing. I don't know why I do this, but it makes perfect sense to give it a little free play.

Neither have I been reading codes correctly. I assumed if there were more than one, they would follow each other. Somehow I entirely missed Step 5 in Bentley's instructions.

As yet the car hasn't resumed it's stall, but if it does we'll do as you suggest. She didn't come out and say it, but I get a feeling that she and her girlfriend enjoyed being under the hood of a car, and doing more than checking fluids. I think they're game for more.

As far as testing goes, when Bentley talks about 'To Test ECU Iimputs ', p241-7, is the test in step 7 different from using a voltmeter and looking for 0 volts ?

Thanks again,
Peter
