Wheel Bearings 900

Hello . 1994 940 346,000 miles . I bought this car at ~ 250,000 miles . Do not know previous maintainence . Wheels front & rear turn fine & no humming while driving . I was thinking as it does have pretty high mileage that I should either grease or maybe even replace front & rear wheel bearings . I stopped in at a NAPA Today . They told me that these are sealed units that can not be greased and whole wheel hub gets replaced rather then just bearings . Is this true ? Someone also told me no need to grease / replace as they last a lifetime . Is this true ? Thanks for advice & input on this .
