Placing a 1992 engine into a 1989 240. No start. 200 1989

1. 89 is a crank sensor car
2. 560 was used in 90-91 b230 turbo engines
3. 561 (pink) was used in 240 na b230 engines
4. 561 (white) was also used in 92 b230 engines
5. it would be ideal to use the 92 engine harness but that ought not to be game breaker

check to verify the ecu you are using is 560 and if so change it

cold start injector is of no consequence

check to make sure you have all the connection in the engine bay connected

verify spark at the plugs and if none work back to the coil checking for spark at each connection

ps: the 561 pink label ecu is known to be problematic. a 951 from a 93 is the ideal replacement
