re: 87 245 auto - IPD ATE brake calipers 200 1987

Hi All,

FYI. I bought all four calipers (rebuilt by ATE) with vented rotors from IPD. Install date: 3/30/2012 @ 166,640 miles. The brake flush job performed at every 30,000 miles.

On 5/25/2014, the rear right side caliper replaced at 230,100 miles. Bleeder valve failure.

On 6/11/2016, the front left side caliper replaced at 298,335 miles. Yup, I just did the job this morning. Stuck piston (lower inside piston)

Those calipers weren't cheap, it was around $100 per caliper but I didn't have to return the core. Ron Wyman (formal IPD sales associate) gave me a break.

The rear side caliper was replaced with Autozone brand and got stuck not too long after. I got a replacement from them. I will be happy if it would last around 100,000 miles.

The front left caliper was also replaced with Autozone brand. I want to see how long these would last...

As always, thank you.
