Q2: use an impact gun 200 1987

Hi SB,

I can answer Q2:
IME an air gun/impact gun is the better tool to remove the nut. Just a matter of seconds!

Previously at home I've tried using clamp, tightening the belt with the main crank locked using spanner all to no avail. Well I haven't tried to wedge a screwdriver in the alt fan in fear of damaging it. If you don't have such tool go to a workshop to get it done. Then tighten back a bit using normal spanner. Drive home and do the rest.

I wish I've done this way earlier.

Regards,
Amarin.
