b23 to b230 (non turbo) 200

hi yall my names adam I'm new to the site and I have an 83 245dl non turbo and I'm currently in the process of swapping the b23 to a b230 (still non turbo for now) anyways I was wondering can I use my block distributor still or will I need to go get the one on the back of the head and a newer engine harness or can I still use my distributor and plug the spot on the head? and i hope i dont need to but do i need to swap the ecu and all wiring or can I get away with just swapping the engine if anyone can lead me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated
