distributor question 444-544

Hey Ron, thanks for the reply. I have on order a rebuild kit that consist of shims , washers and this phenolic sheet included. The kit is for a Volkswagen Bosch 022 a 001 and 006 distributor and the parts needed for the Volvo VJU 4 BL 33 distributor internals look the same. If things work out I`ll post back with the info. I hope that the advance distributor instead of the retard is what this weber DGV 32/36 wants. The price for a rebuilt Bosch distributor if you could find one for our Volvo`s would be $400 and up. That`s comparing with the cast iron Volkswagen Bosch distributors. The place I found for these parts is partsklassik.com. I really like the site. Thanks much. Larry
