Thanks for follow-up...I suggest you take some well lit, detailed pictures and let us know if this kit works out well for our Distributors.

Regarding Retard or Advance...remember that direction of rotation for B18/20 is CCW, so with a bit of studying of the mechanism and action, you should be able to figure out what you have...if a Retard type, the concensus is to leave it unconnected, and let the Centrifugal Advance alone function...if a Vacuum Advance type, you can try it with a Vacuum connected or disconnected and see with a timing light what the difference is...also perfom a roadtest to see if there is a noticable difference or if you prefer one to the other
