looking to have AC fixed; rock auto, eeuroparts 200 1993

Before you go out and buy a new compressor I think it would be best to be sure that your compressor is truly not working. The compressor will not function if there is not enough refrigerant. There is a way to jump the low pressure cut off switch which will allow the compressor to run (unless it's broken). I'm not exactly sure how to do it, but it's not too difficult. Do a little research before spending the bucks.
