Fuel Pump Relay Bypass to Drain Gas Tank 900

Hi folks,

I need to bypass the fuel pump relay in order to drain bad fuel from the tank.

I found a how to for 740, but it did not work for my 94 940. No 30 or 87b tabs. I have 31, 15, 87 and 87a tabs on my white fuel pump relay. I tried 31 to 87a with no luck.

Got a siphon but cannot get the hose into the tank. It won't go in far enough.

I've got just under half tank of year old gas. Would like to drain it instead of mixing it in with new.

Thanks for any suggestions.
