I don't sit at a light with the clutch pedal pushed in. I most often coast to a red light or stop sign in neutral and push the clutch in to move off and shift. Good suggestion, though, and I agree, the clutch parts would wear faster if someone is in the habit of sitting at a light with the pedal pushed in and some lights these days in larger cities are quite long.
