Ignition Issues (No Power to ECU Pin 2) 200 1986

Thanks Less, I'll post what happens, good luck on your 86! Alrighty, well I followed that great flowchart and unlike the Bentley manual they say test the blue wire going into the ECU while the harness is still plugged in and mine shows about 12V. Sweet, sounds like no wire checking thank god. So I was testing the wrong pin (actually number 9) because I didn't pay attention to the illustration in the manual...maybe I'll rethink that auto mechanic career. So it appears I have power and ground to the ECU so that's great progress. I also have power to the coil. I briefly tried taking a plug out and unplugging the distributor harness and jumpering pin B and C to see if there's a spark and I did not get one. So sounds like ICU is maybe faulty? I have to wait a bit until I can buy a new one/consult mechanic first so we'll see if that's it. I'd like to show him that flowchart. Thanks a lot guys sorry for idiocy...:/
