Recirculation Control 200 1991

Art,

So what I mean is I hold the flapper shut by hand, then pump the pump. It takes a while and once I have a vacuum I can pump a little more and it will hold. So I believe I have a hole in it and by placing it in this position that hole is plugged and the vacuum is aloud to hold.

Tonight I stuck a tennis ball in and now I have fresh air coming through the vents once more, and I no longer have a hiss when I shut the engine off.

On heading to the PNP this weekend, you are correct. The hand vacuum MUST come along before I even think of pulling out that dash. As for pulling out my dash I most likely will wait till I have more of my A/C components together and am ready to do the conversion.

Then and only then will I dig into the belly of beast. I did my 89' this past March and followed your entire post which I must say was AWESOME! When I do this one I believe I can have everything out and possibly back in about 6 hours which will be pretty good. That is if Murphy is kept at bay, and we all know how that goes!

Thanks again for everything!

Matt
