740 wind noise 700 1990

I have read a good bit, and just wanted a bit more input. Most I read regards newer fwd models... different types of doors.

It is at the drivers side glass, upper left back corner. The noise starts almost immediately, gets worse as speed increases ...pretty loud right at your left ear.

Everything looks good ...doors straight, gasket looks fine, window looks to close tightly.

I did pull the gasket out at the corner just to check. An attempt to stop with black sealant had been done. Finally removed that, noise now worse.

Replace gasket? Use silicone?

Thanks for any help..
