Headliner 444-544

I made a temporary headliner (canvas) for my 544 just to see if I could do it, before I spend the money on the good stuff. I removed the old one carefully, & cut the seams apart where it was sewn together. I cut the canvas pieces the same size & shape, & sewed them all together, then added the tubes for the bows to slide through. Mark a center-line on the upper side to help keep it centered while installing. I used a stiff putty-knife with the corners rounded off to push the edges up behind the retainer strips. I was pleased with the results & won't be afraid to make the next one. It's not really difficult, just takes time & patience. Doing it on a cool day helps too. I'm going to make one for my 122 in the near future. I watched the video several times which really helped.
