fuel line leaking

I just suffered this and fixed it too. Look for my post on this problem. In essence, the plastic cracked at the fitting (probably due to twisting when removing the filter) and you need to cut off the entire old line and replace it with new. Be VERY careful in removing the old nylon line that you do not score the fittings with your X-Acto knife, else they will leak for sure. Buy new Ford 8mm OD/6mm ID EFTE fuel line at a dealer. Follow my instructions to mount the line in channeled blocks of wood in a vice and press fit the fittings back in. Ignore all Internet advice about heat shrinking, etc. I did this and it worked great.
