is it practical to alter a 940 turbo fuel system 900

to run one in-tank high pressure pump rather than the 2 pump stock setup?

the fuel filter would remain under the car but the line in and out would be modified to reflect the change.

making this change seems to me more efficient and much cheaper with no loss in fuel pressure delivery.
