Cooling fan running while engine cold

Thank you for the response, I see that now in the FAQ. Removing the middle connector shuts the fan off, which it would seem indicates the relay is probably not the culprit. Replacing the middle connector and removing the gray pressostat on the condenser shuts off the fan. Replacing the gray connector turns the fan back on. Engine is still cold, it has not been run since yesterday.

Unfortunately, it seems these pressostat switches are not stocked in the U.S. I tried to order the brown one and was told 6+ weeks to come from Sweden. I imagine the gray one will not be any different.

Is it safe to run without these? I know ideally they should be replaced.
