Belts/Alternator redo (fair price from mechanic?) 200 1987

About 6 weeks ago, I had new belts installed in my 240 due to an alternator that had been moving around. The mechanic replaced the belts (one of which had ripped off) and secured the alternator with new aftermarket bushings...until this week when the alternator fell out of place completely and the adjustment bolt broke off and the belt came off track. I bought 6 poly bushings and a new alternator bolt from IPD the second time around.

The first time I paid $269

This second time around he wants me to pay $275

I have talked him down to $100 for the second round

Is this fair? Or should I not be paying anything for a redo?
