Fuel sending unit interchangeability 700

Hi I have a 1988 740 turbo wagon with lh 2.2, main fuel pump in line along with an in tank pump.

Are there any non turbo sedan models that I can swap the fuel sending unit with?

I'm guessing the in tank pump will have to be swapped but other than that will I run into any problems.

A couple of yards have 1987 non turbo sedans with the fuel sending units in good shape is why I ask.
