tail gate hinge 200

Hi Kitty,

"Skinny jeans & 60 years owld? I don't get the reference."

The wiring space is too tight. The wire is bound to break. My friend who sold me her 93 Volvo, replaced the wires 3 times. My 60 years old something friends don't wear tight jeans. It's not comfy and restrict our blood flow.

"Cutting and splicing in extra length for the four or so conductor on each side, and pulling the extra length up of sheathed section through the hinge holes. "

That works! Based on your method, someone can make a 3pcs bypass wires harness. When the middle wire breaks, unplug it, slide out the wire & put the new wire in thru the tail gate hinge. Why didn't we think of this 20 years ago! :)

My method works if you have a tight budget with no ladder. Good luck.
