heater fan wiring 200 1989

hi BB. my 240 made a classic move. the heater fan motor stop working when it is cold weather and needed most. does anyone have wiring diagram. checked fuses they're fine. when it stopped, car was running and fan working, then it stopped, suspected blown fuse. but then I smelled electrical burn odor. shut fan off. have a few questions does this sounds like relay, switch or what??? may have to perform chainsaw procedure. any other thoughts. thanks
