Euro Headlights 900 1991

I was very fortunate to obtain a junkyard set of Euro headlights that were in fair shape but missing pieces. A junkyard saver posted it for sale at a great price and promptly mailed them to me. I am grateful they were a correct fit for my 1991 940SE wagon with separate fog lights. After some manipulating and creative affixing I ordered a custom harness from light guru Daniel Stern and set everything up including aiming the lights.
The result is truly a significant increase in regular lighting that is so much safer in unlit drives. The separate bright lighting is terrific in such a way that you never overdrive your lights speedwise. The satisfaction with improved lighting overall is just grand. I am an old man that makes many trips to remote areas to pick up outboard motors with my beefed up Volvo wagon pickup. The improved night lighting makes me feel safer and less tense in remote areas and on long highway stretches the ambient light on the sides lessens my phobia about deer darting out on the road.
It is a shame that this system is so costly to incorporate on the 740/940 series if you don't find a deal on the original Volvo headlight assemblies. I was lucky. They are the best improvement in my Volvo in the last 5 years.
I am having trouble posting a pic. Soon
