I am prompted to reply if for no other reason than to give this unanswered post a bump to the top...

Not sure how the tach in your car gets its impulse since it is equipped with a hall sensor rather than a CPS, but have you noticed what the tach is showing when the car stalls?

At highway speed when it stalls is it about the same as if you simply turned off the ignition or is it like a loss of power more like an inability to accept throttle?
