Drivers side brake light not working despite both tail lights working (1990 240DL) 200 1990

So I have changed all the fuses in my fuse box to the ceramic ones from IPD and changed out my drivers side brake light. However, it still does not work. Both the tail lights work though and it comes through the same bulb so I am confused. Any ideas? I can't drive the vehicle until I figure this out due to stupid inspections in my state. Thank you!
