strong running 245 lost power and died. Have some clues, need help. 200 1989

Once you get the alternator fixed (check its ground wire too) you need to fix the wires at the speed sensor to stop the crazy idle after driving. Check your OBD codes. 311 will be fixed when you get the speedometer working again.

The computer from this car will work to troubleshoot your 93.
