How to open bonnet when pull cable won't 700 1990

Yeah, what it says in the FAQ and also search the forum. It happened to me a long time ago, but I think I finally got it to open by pounding on the front of the hood. In my case the cable was okay but the sliding parts were gummed up. Once you habe ot open, go at the openings with WD-40.
