Here's the heat shield 120-130

Now that I made you look at my car...



I fabricated it from a piece of 16-18ga that had a sharp press bend in it. It's attached only at the 2 points, touching nowhere else, and the rear end is free, but it seems stiff enough and doesn't rattle. There's about .25 inch above and below, but I think it's enough to reduce direct radiant transfer to the alternator. A longer belt might increase that space.
