Counterfeit Volvo oil filter teardown

hi polar- interesting and disappointing pics. have had similar views when i break apart some filters. have found the best for quality and price to be purolator which i think is the oldest auto oil filter. their valves and filtration medium is good and consistent.but very hard to find that brand in auto stores. seems fram dominates andhave have had bad luck with that brand. mann is good but cant get a good price on them. what do you think? thanks tons oldduke
