Has anyone ever attempted to fix these when they get 'wallered' out? Something along the lines of a bushing, etc? I've gone through 6 pairs and they all seem to wear out on the long side (glass) of the hinge and have an incredible amount of play in them. Or did Volvo intentionally add slop to alleviate stress on the glass when opening it?
