Installing early aluminum fan in a late car, possible? Dumb idea? 200 1991

I was at the pick & pull and there was a 75 245. I saw it had an old aluminum radiator fan, so I pulled it, along with the clutch and spacer (basically everything all the way back to the water pump).

I'd like to put this fan on my B230 equipped car, but only because I could powder coat it and make it look nicer than the plastic fan.

The clutch for the aluminum fan is clearly different from the plastic fan clutch, so I can't just mount the aluminum fan to the newer clutch. The bolt size and spacing also seems to be different for the clutch-to-waterpump bolts for the B19 (vs my B230).

I also don't see the old type of clutch available on rockauto or my other usual part sources, so maybe this can't be done at all (I don't want to re-use the junkyard clutch), but does anyone know if it can be done?

If it can be done, is it a bad idea? Are the aluminum fans in some way inferior to the later plastic ones?
