Tail light problem 900 1992

Drivers side tail light (Upper left, 5w bulb US number 67), stopped working, unless I gave the assembly a light tap. Once lit, it would remain lit. Took the bulb out, cleaned it and the socket. No difference. Then it stopped working all together. I measured the voltage and there was none coming to this bulb. I unplugged the connector and there was no power on it either, just for this tail light. All other voltages were fine. Also, passenger side works fine all the time.
Where is the power source that feed the connector plug specifically the tail light side. I need to trace this backwards. Things are never easy...
