87C plus new coolant 900

Dear Amarin,

Hope you're well. Thank you, for the suggestions! When I saw the headline, I thought - for a nanosecond - that you were reminding me not to re-use old coolant!!!

I have a couple of 3.78 litre jugs of Coolant "C" that I'll use-up before transitioning. I'd guess Volvo used-up its supply of Coolant C and now supplies G64.

I also appreciate your guidance anent thermostats. The Volvo pocket data booklet: Cars (700,850,900) 1991-1996, (p. 37), is silent as between turbo and non-turbo engines.

I have in my parts bin an 88°C Calorstat unit, which I think will suffice. A degree or so shouldn't matter much.

Thanks again for your help!

Yours faithfully,

Spook
