Fuel Pump 444-544

Thanks everyone for your input, the pump seemed like it was struggling but embarrassing to say, it was actually running out of gas. I'm still going to rebuild the existing AC pump and was wondering why some thought it a difficult thing to do. I haven't taken one apart in many, many years but don't recall having any significant issues when I did. Also would anyone know where I can obtain SU linkage that attaches to the back carb shaft and runs through the firewall and attaches to pedal rod.
